Hearts on Fire
Last Sunday, at the 11:00 am worship service, out guest preacher, Pastor David Kaiser, was into his sermon message and the fire alarm (with horns and strobes) went off. If you’ve never heard the horns, be assured that they are loud. Once it was determined that it was a false alarm, but amid the alarm still going off, most worshipers were still present and they sought a quieter area because they wanted to hear the remainder of the sermon message and to continue worship. Keeping an upbeat attitude, the worshipers gathered in the Nursery where they listened to the rest of the sermon and closed the service with an intimate Holy Communion service. We are certain that the unusual and impromptu second-half of Sunday’s 11:00 worship service was a blessing to those who were present and was very pleasing to God.

Bring A Friend
Sundays in Advent & Christmas
The Hospitality MAT encourages you to ask your unchurched friends and family to St. Paul’s all the time but, during the Sundays of Advent & Christmas, we have special gift bags prepared to give to your guest at the Welcome Center. Help us celebrate Christmas by carrying out Jesus’ command to spread the Good News. Say “Happy Birthday” to our blessed Savior by inviting others to His House of Worship.
We can have Joy!
We tend to look for joy in the “stuff” around us, our relationships, or even our circumstances. However, we shouldn’t measure our joy based on any of those things. Our joy can come from remembering that God’s plan is greater than anything we could dream up. It’s our relationship with God and our trust in Him that puts joy in our hearts. During the hustle and bustle of this Christmas season, remember that God sent his one and only Son to earth for us. Jesus is the reason we find joy.
“Always be joyful because you belong to the Lord. I will say it again. Be joyful!” Philippians 4:4 (NIrV)
